LUA by ID — Download & Guide
Enter the game's AppID. If a .zip with a README exists, it'll be offered first; otherwise the raw .lua is served. Links are short‑lived and expire within minutes.
How it works
The search generates a signed, temporary link. Sharing the link does not guarantee access; once it expires, the file won't be served.
File format
- ID.zip→ contains- ID.lua+- README.txt
- ID.lua→ served if the ZIP isn't available
Guide A — Using this page with SteamTools
Designed for legitimate uses such as backing up your own titles, inspecting versions, and automating workflows with LUA scripts. Do not use to infringe copyrights.
- Download and install SteamTools from the official website.
- Find a game on SteamDB and copy its AppID.
- Paste the AppID into the search above and generate the link.
- Download the file and open the .zip(if present).
- Inside the ZIP, you'll find a .lua. Drag that file onto SteamTools' floating window.
- Restart Steam.
Guide B — SteamTools + Plugin in Millenium
Millenium is a customizable enhancement framework for Steam that allows users to extend the client with additional features, themes, and plugins. The goal of this plugin is to provide faster and easier access to your Steam games streamlining how titles are managed and launched directly from the client.
- Open PowerShell.
- Copy and paste the following command into PowerShell, run it, and wait until Millenium finishes installing: iwr -useb "https://steambrew.app/install.ps1" | iex
- Open Steam → Steam menu → Millenium → Plugins.
- In Plugins, click Browse Local Files and select the plugin .zip.
Troubleshooting
Added games don't show up
- Change Windows DNS to Google's (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) or try a VPN.
- Restart Steam and check again.
- Verify integrity if the client allows it.
Download errors
- Switch Steam's download server (Settings → Downloads → Download Region).
- Retry after a few minutes.
- Ensure enough free disk space and write permissions for the library folder.
